Who we are

Ted began his bread journey twenty years ago after stumbling across Tartine’s first cookbook. Since that time, he has honed his baking craft to yield exquisite artisan sourdough in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Even at an altitude of 8500 ft, his bread exhibits a superior ear, crumb, and oven spring. As all sourdough bakers know, sourdough starter takes on the character of the local yeast fauna — and the exceptional taste of Stoic GrainsTM sourdough is truly a gift from the Colorado Rockies.
